In August 1971 the Channahon Park District was formed to manage the I & M Canal State Park in Channahon.

The park was comprised of twelve acres.

Today, there are 19 parks with a total of 377 acres. There are a variety of parks throughout the community to enjoy with a number of different amenities. See what all of our parks have to offer!
