Ages 7 years & up
Looking for a different and unique way to celebrate your child’s
birthday? The no stress, all-inclusive one of a kind party? Cooking
parties are fun, hands on, innovative and delicious. Children enjoy
creating their own dishes from scratch. The birthday child is free
and will receive a child’s size chef hat. All cooking parties are 2
½ hours. To make any party a success the Chef knows you need the
right ingredients to make a dish yummy!
Cooking parties
include:
-Customized printed invitations

-Paper and plastic goods
-All of the food the chefs cook
-Time to open gifts with a gift record
Five
great themes to choose from:
Pizza Party-We will make pizza
dough and pizza sauce from scratch and learn how to knead, shape and
add toppings to our individual pizzas, we will make a cookie pizza
and strawberry-banana smoothies.
Fiesta Party-We
will create salsa served with chips, cheesy chicken enchiladas,
fruit-filled tortilla roll-ups and mock margaritas.
Fun-Due Party-We
will prepare and enjoy cheesy fondue with toasted bread & veggies,
chocolate fondue with cookies, pound cake, assorted fruits and
cranberry mocktails.
Drive-In Diner Party-We will be
making milkshakes, mini-sliders & oven fries and for dessert make
your own sundaes.
Brunch-Great for after a
sleep-over-We will make scones with strawberry butter, morning
parfaits, egg nests and mock mimosas.

Deadline: 2 week advance registration and payment required
A $25 deposit is required at the time
of booking your party. Deposits will not be returned if party is
cancelled less than three days prior to schedule date or in the
event of a no-show.
Facility Rental Information
The Channahon Park District has the perfect space available for your
upcoming shower, party, reception or meeting.
Fees include tables and chairs set up to your needs and a 100 cup
coffee pot upon request. Hourly room rates are a
minimum of two hours and include one additional hour for set-up at
no charge.

Each
room has a capacity of 30-35 people depending on the type of room
set-up used. Rooms are available 12 months a year. Arrowhead
Community Center is a non-smoking facility and alcohol is not
permitted. A facility request form must be completed no later than
two weeks before the event in order for the reservation to be
verified. A $20 fee will be charged for any rental cancellation made
less than two weeks before the event. |
